Product Introduction
Primary filters: the first line of defence in air purification
The primary filter is the ‘front guard’ of the air purification system, mainly used to intercept large particles above 5 microns in the air, such as dust, hair, fibres and pollen. As the first layer of a multi-stage filtration system, its core role is to protect the back-end high-efficiency filters (such as HEPA) from being clogged by large particles, thus extending the overall equipment life and reducing energy consumption.
In industrial workshops, commercial buildings and domestic air conditioning, the need for primary filters is reflected in three ways:
1. Economy: Filter 60%-80% of coarse particles, reduce the frequency of high-efficiency filter replacement, saving maintenance costs;
2. Efficiency guarantee: prevent large particles from covering the pores on the surface of the high-efficiency filter, maintaining the stability of the system's airflow and purification efficiency;
3. Widely applicable: washable or replaceable metal mesh, chemical fibre materials are suitable for scenes with high dust concentration (e.g. building ventilation, factory pre-treatment).
According to statistics, without the installation of primary filter purification equipment, high-efficiency filter element life shortened by more than 40% on average. Whether it is to protect precision instruments or to improve indoor air quality, primary filters have become an indispensable cornerstone of modern air management with their low-cost and cost-effective features.
Product Characteristics
1. Cheap, light weight, good versatility, reduce operating costs;
2. The outer frame is made of galvanised frame or aluminium frame, and the filter material is made of high-quality polyester synthetic fibre attached with rhombic mesh or welded wire mesh folded and shaped.
3. Compact structure, commonly used in the ventilation system of the first level of filtration.
4. It is also suitable for air-conditioning and ventilation system which only needs one level of filtration.
